久保田昌一さん率いる、”Orchestrada”の第１４回定期演奏会にて、ブルッフ：ヴァイオリン協奏曲を共演させていただきました。今回は演奏だけでなく、「身体と音楽との調和」の講習会を開かせていただいたり、２回のリハーサルを通してオーケストラの皆さんと様々な音楽的な”会話”ができたことが、非常に良かったと思います。一番初めリハーサルから本番をとおして、まさに、お互いの”言語”を理解しようと努め、一緒に音楽の中の様々な色「倍音」を聴き合うことができたことは、素晴らしい音楽体験でした。心より感謝いたします。
久保田氏、平山氏は同じマネス音楽大学出身。平山氏とは、僕がソリストとしてマネス・オーケスラと演奏した時以来、２回目のブルッフの共演！なんというご縁でしょう！その意味でも非常に感慨深いものがありました・・・(^^　お二人の素晴らしい音楽性、そして友情にも感謝いたします。

I have performed Bruch: Violin Concerto with ORCHESTRADA led by Shoichi Kubota on Sep.30 in Tokyo. We had not only rehearsals and concert but had lecture about “Harmonizing Body and Music” also. I felt we understood each other through “Musical language” and could listen to color of tones, overtones, in a music during performance. It was extraordinary experience.

Three of us, Shoichi Kubota, Shin Hirayama(Concertmaster) and me, are alumni of The Mannes College of Music(^^
I have performed Bruch: Concerto with Mannes Orchestra when I was student, and Shinn Hirayama was in that orchestra 20 more years ago…!!
